Attractions include tickets to Walt
Disney World, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove.
Walt Disney World (WDW)
Walt Disney World has four parks, Magic
Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. There is something in each of these
parks that everyone will find to enjoy.
Everyone knows the Magic Kingdom was
designed with children in mind, but we will see some great shows, parades,
fireworks and have the opportunity to ride a few rides.
EPCOT has many educational attractions. Innovations has a wonderful “hands
on” section of exciting projects and inventions, tame rides to take you through
the displays and wild rides such as the Test Track and Space Ship Earth. The World Showcase Lagoon allows us
to “visit” many other countries of the world.
At each country we will meet natives of the land, taste their food and
see their crafts. At the end of the
day we will see a multimedia show and some awesome fireworks.
Hollywood Studios’ theme park is also a
working movie/TV studio with live shows throughout the day. The shows are full of live actions,
animations, audience stimulations and lasers to complete the effects. We will be able to take a tour of the
studio, a slow ride through movie history, ride a smooth roller coaster and
experience daring Tower of Terror.
There will be a multimedia show at the end of the day.
The Animal Kingdom park is not on our
schedule of events. Since it is
included in the ticket price, there will be some “free time” available to
explore on your own. Please note, however, interpreters will not be available. Animal Kingdom has a mix of live
animals, shows, rides, countries, and a tree sculpture that could be an
interesting “hands on” attraction.
Other sites at Walt Disney World not
included in the trip package are Downtown Disney with shopping, dining, and an
imaginative entertainment complex called Disney Quest. Disney Quest features high-tech
activities that include old classic video games, rides, and making your own
roller coaster.
Discovery Cove
This is an all inclusive day that will
provide continental breakfast, lunch, some snacks, drinks, animal safe
sunscreen, showers, towels, shampoo, and soap.
You only need to bring your bathing suit.
You will enjoy hands-on activities, unlimited access to Explorer’s Aviary
(home to hundreds of species of exotic birds), a tropical reef where you can
snorkel alongside graceful rays and hundreds of tropical fish, the carefree
currents of the Wind-Away River and the long stretches of white sand beaches of
Serenity Bay. You will be able to
swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove if you purchase the package that
includes this activity.
SeaWorld
SeaWorld has hands-on experience with dolphin encounters
and stingray pools. There are animal
exhibits, roller coaster rides and excellent shows with Shamu, the killer whale
and other sea animals. SeaWorld’s
Waterfront offers shopping and dining.
